Panes of Broken Glass is an abstract watercolor painting of broken glass or window panes. It is a study of light and dark contrasts. One can almost reach out and touch the sharp edges. Based on a photograph of exposed tree roots (Root Tangle), this painting began as a study of the negative spaces between the roots. This is also available in a square format

Loving how your use of frisket works in abstraction! My moody, soft edged garden tangle or floral work usually doesnβt fare well with a hard edge and that is where my challenge halogens. You have MAXIMIZED THE BEST of what frisket has to offer here, Liz.. SUCH A BEAUTY. Has this one been featured to the BUZzz?
