Description
Fireworks and Fireflies is an abstract watercolor. White accents are fireflies in the evening sky surrounded by white and red fireworks. It could also be seen as spidery white-leaved plants along with some red flowers. The strong white lines were painted using a resist process. Haiku and a Story.

Oh, won't Harold be surprised when I get the lawn chairs from the back of the garage, clean them up and put them on the deck! The weather's warming up – we can, finally, have our evening cocktails outside. I can't wait to surprise him; he thinks he does all the work around here.

Sylvia, sweetie, what happened? Are you OK? Are you hurt?
OOOOHHHH, get them off of me---these awful, ugly, albino spiders. OOOHHHH, they're in my hair!! EEWWWW., there' down my back. OOOOHHH......
OK, sweetie, they're all gone; I've taken the shop vac and swept them all up – but what were you doing in the back of the garage?
