Description
Purple Tulips is a watercolor based on the flowers growing in my garden. This little patch of dark purple tulips is growing at the edge of a shade garden, just barely getting enough sun. In the back, the purple vinca is in full bloom, on the side the pale purple phlox is in full bloom. In the front, there a few yellow tulips. A version of this is available in a square format. This painting is a soft blend of greens and blues with highlights of yellow.
