Description
Lily Pond is a gentle painting of lily pads. This is based on a photograph from the Naples Botanical Gardens in Naples, Florida. The lily pads are soft tones of purple; they gently float in the pond. Their flowers are a gentle shade of yellow. This is quiet, peaceful scene.

A Story - Chapter One
The battalion from Shaluvia was twenty-one ships strong. Made from the strongest metal known, nepturide, it could withstand the heat of any sun. Slowly, they made their way towards the distant planet Uurrthh, located in a far corner of their galaxy. Their mission – confirm the usefulness of the few resources still available and begin salvage operations.
Let's listen in as Sky Captain Harold speaks to the crew: 'Shipmates, we are on a bold mission: The resources on Uurrthh are rapidly diminishing and we will be there to salvage what is left. You have all been hand-picked as the most qualified to accomplish this. Sgt. Sylvia has prepared a report on the resistance we can expect from the Uurrthh-lings. Sgt. Sylvia......'
'Sir, these creatures, although they believe themselves to be brilliant; sadly that is not the case. For starts, they refer to us as Flying Saucers and even worse, Unidentified Flying Objects or UFO's. Every intergalactic species knows our ships to be Astronomical Ships Seeking Expanded Supplies or ASSES. So they are definitely uneducated and their research is faulty. Additionally, it appears they squandered and wasted their own planet.'
'Thank you, Sgt. Sylvia. Lt. Phil – what is our trajectory?'
'Sir, it is the third star to the left and straight on to morning!'
