Description
Wagon at Dawn is an abstract watercolor based on a photograph by fellow artist, John Twynam (John Backhouse Mill North). The wagon wheel is soft tones of yellow.
Haiku
Good morning New Year
Though it looks the same and now
Do I make it new?
The morning arrives
The new day begins brightly
Sparkling with newness
A Poem to the New Day
To Morning:
Strands of spinning gold
Hang in fanciful arrays
Shiny, delicate
Shimmering in light
Reflecting hope and promise
Golden hues await
A stunning sunrise
Today - I stop, watch, savor
A fleeting moment
As fleeting as time
So beautiful this morning
Blink and it is gone
Bright sunlight poured in
The space lit up in glory
I soaked up the sun
Morning walk while birds sing
Colors emerge in greetings
My senses expand
Sun's warmth on my face
The promise of a new day
Where shall we begin?
