Description
Weeds in Blue is an abstract watercolor of garlic chives weeds that grow along the fence line. They have long stems and make nice cut flowers, even if some folk might consider them weeds. The flowers are white with long stems. The pollinators love them. These plants are swaying gently in a summer breeze. Also available in a square format.
Haiku/
The torrential rains
Came with thunder and lightning
Cleansing, refreshing
The weeds, refreshed, grew
And surrounded the flowers
In the fight for life
The weeds persisted
Abundantly, everywhere
And she surrendered

Thanks for sharing this in the BUZzz, Liz!…I love wildflowers and think they have been done so wrong with their being labeled “weeds”. To me, they are the intricate meadow dancers…thanks for the haiku enhancement to an already beautiful floral abstract! Fav

Katherine, Angela and Sharon - thank you. It seems the more I work in the garden, the faster the weeds grow, especially after it rains. But, they have a certain beauty and I leave some to just grow.
